Youth United Against Drug Abuse

The RED Can Stop Campaign is a powerful youth-driven initiative by Boys of Hope Foundation designed to raise awareness and fight against the growing menace of drug abuse in Ghana. Through education, advocacy, and community engagement, the campaign seeks to empower young people with the knowledge, courage, and discipline to say NO to drugs while inspiring them to live purpose-driven lives.

Objectives:

  • Educate youth on the dangers and long-term effects of drug abuse.

  • Promote healthy lifestyle alternatives through sports, music, and mentorship.

  • Strengthen community and parental involvement in combating drug-related issues.

  • Inspire collective action to build drug-free environments.

Event Activities:

  1. Awareness Walk – A march through key streets with placards, music, and advocacy messages.

  2. Youth Forum & Panel Discussion – Interactive sessions with health professionals, recovering addicts, law enforcement, and youth leaders.

  3. Drama & Spoken Word – Creative performances illustrating the realities of drug addiction and the power of choice.

  4. Health Screening – Free medical checks and counseling for participants.

  5. Pledges of Commitment – Young people signing commitment cards to live drug-free lives.
